Plane Crash Scare In Adamawa

A plane crash was averted in Yola, Adamawa State today, October 10, as a military jet lost both its rear tyres while at the airport, Nigerian Eye reports.
The plane, believed to be used for operations against Boko Haram, was reportedly trying to take-off when the tyres came off.
A source reportedly told Nigerian Eye that the incident occurred at about 2.30pm and caused panic among the airport officials and others who were present.
Emergency respondents were said to have rushed to the scene and the airport runway was temporarily closed.
