Reports have it that another of Sen. Ali Ndume's aides has been arrested over alleged links with Boko Haram.

Is Sen. Ali Ndume habouring Boko Haram members?

A Personal Assistant to serving Senator in the upper chambers of the National Assembly, Senator Mohammed Ali Ndume, representing Southern Borno Senatorial District, Iliya Adamu, has been arrested by security operatives over allegations that he has links with the dreaded Islamic insurgent group, Boko Haram.

According to military sources, Adamu was arrested alongside six other persons who are also said to belong to the violent set and has been taken into custody for questioning to ascertain his direct involvement with the group that has been causing great upheavals in the Northern parts of the country.
According to a security source in Maiduguri, Borno State capital, the suspects were accused of planning terror attacks to be carried out in Abuja.
This is not the first time an aide of the Senator has been linked to the terror sect as one of his nephews and aides, said to be a top ranking member of the sect, was earlier arrested in his Maiduguri home sometime ago.
Senator Ndume himself is still standing trial after an arrested Boko Haram suspect fingered him as one of their sponsors.
