Boko Haram: Nigeria Deploys Additional 500 Troops To Adamawa, Borno

The non-Muslim residents of two Bura villages in Hawul Local government have been ordered by the Boko Haram insurgents to convert to Islam within 24hours and they promised to return if their ultimatum was not met and killed 2 retired army officers and an ex-policeman...

According to reports, "There is widespread fear of possible attacks by the insurgents   among Christians in communities along this important road. People are worried that at the end of the ultimatum, the Boko Haram may also attack them"
 The people are now helpless and panicking .
According to reports, the Boko Haram insurgents had burnt many churches and houses in Debiro, Biu local government area in Borno. Among the churches burnt were ECWA,EYN also the residence of a Deeper Life bible church pastor.
It was gathered that the insurgents came with 2 Hilux vans and 20 motorcycles.
Meanwhile, the federal government has deployed additional 500 troops in a state to give better strength fighting the Boko Haram insurgents. The military has continued to be present in the challenged munities in the north-east o Adamawa.
Contrary to the report of the media, Mubi has not been exempted but rather 500 troops have being redeployed to support the expectation around the area including Gula and Michika. The situation report that Mubi is calm with the presence of the police and other services on duty.
